Special Events

I am proud to be associated with the Parent to Parent program; it's good work and resources have made a profound and positive difference in the lives of many families - Dr. Charles R. Duke

Spooky Duke Race

For the past several years, Parent to Parent FSN-High County has held a fundraising and awareness raising event with running as the theme. Dr. Charles R. Duke, former Dean of the Reich College of Education, became our sponsor. To honor him and to celebrate our Halloween theme the name “Spooky Duke” was born. The “Spooky Duke” is now a certified 5K and 10K race with a free Costume March and Contest where children, adults and pets can all show off their unique costumes and share in the fun.

All proceeds to this race enable Parent to Parent FSN-HC to continue to support local families who have children with special needs.
