The photo of Ben, who has Down syndrome, was selected from over 2,500 entries in the NDSS nationwide call for photos. Approximately 226 photographs will appear in a video production to be shown on the MTV Plasma screen, located in the heart of Times Square.

Ben is pictured wearing his dance costume from the May 2009 end of year production of Dimensions Studio in Mars Hill. Next to him are ribbons and trophies he has earned dancing at Dimensions. He is also proudly displaying his second place trophy and ribbons from a recent 4-H talent show where he entertained the audience by dancing to a song from one of his favorite movies, High School Musical.

Ben has been in the last two productions at Dimensions Studio and is currently taking classes in Hip Hop and acrobatics.

The video production, coordinated by NDSS, illustrates children, teens and adults with Down syndrome working, playing and learning with friends and family.
